Room 238, Sunday evening

Aeryn spent her afternoon training Peter, and when she gets back to the room, she's ready to go looking for something to eat.

She finds the package of Goldfish crackers, and remembering her conversation with Dawn, brings them over to the shark tank. She doesn't do anything, just moves it in front of the tank, wondering if Bruno would go for it. She's slightly disappointed when he doesn't seem to care.

John laughs and shakes his head. "Just being funny, girlfriend o' mine."

"You are so strange," she says, shaking her head.

"You're just now realizing that now?"

"Sometimes I even realize it all over again," she replies.

"But you love me anyway."

"I do," she says, leaning in to kiss him lightly.

"Good for me," he says and kisses her back.

"Not so bad for me, either," she smiles against his lips.

"We're both damn lucky."

"We are," she says, smiling a little and touching his cheek.

He touches her cheek and closes his eyes. "Cuddle time?" he asks hopefully.

She answers that by turning towards him and draping an arm around his waist. "Good?"

"Yup." He cuddles her back and gets comfortable. "I'll fall asleep quick. If you're not tired, you can do other things. I just like falling asleep in your arms."

She's pleased by that, and will never say so. "I could be very loud and wake you up again," she teases quietly.

"Just make sure you wake me up in a good way when you're loud," he says.

Aeryn frowns, trying to figure that one out. "Did you mean that dirty?" she asks. You'd never guess she hangs out with Rory.

"I so did," he says sleepily.

"Hm," she says, in no way considering that.

He grins sleepily and says, "Let me fall asleep first before you wake me up with the dirty."

Aeryn laughs quietly and says, "Hurry up and sleep then."

"Will do," he says. "Love you." And then he's quiet.

She kisses his forehead lightly, and stays where she is, just for a little. She has some things she can do until she wakes him up.
