Pixie cabin, alcove C1, Sunday afternoon

When Aeryn gets back to the alcove after saying goodbye to Parker, the first thing she sees is the binder Isabel gave her yesterday. Which is of course not at all because she spent a very good part of yesterday ignoring it, then picking it up to look through it, then ignoring it, then deciding she should at least get an idea from it, ad nauseum.

"Maybe we should figure out when to do this," she says.

"Probably not during summer because of the heat," he says. "And it can take a few months to plan depending on how many people we want to invite."

Aeryn doesn't know pretty much anyone outside of Fandom, so that part is easy enough for her. "So, fall then?" she asks.

"Later this year?"

Really slowly, she nods. It might be occurring to her that it's already May.

"Um." He rubs his face, still kind of sleepy. "August?"

He's just throwing out months.

"That's only three months," she points out.

He nods. "It is. Um. October?"

She starts to nod, then says, "Might run into a conflict with homecoming."

"Right, right," he said. "November? Before Thanksgiving."

She opens her mouth, but can't find anything wrong with November. "Um. Okay."

"Okay." He blinks. "So...November."

"November," she repeats, blowing out a breath.

"You're not gonna pass out, are you?"

"I don't pass out," she says, shaking her head. "No, I'm okay."

"Rory said she'd help," John tells her.

"So did Isabel," she says. "I have the binder, even."

He shoots a glance at the binder. "I'll...leave that stuff to you girls."

"Thanks," she says dryly. "You'll miss the dresses and giant cake, though."

"I'll do other things like location, music, tuxedos and stuff."

"Good," she says. "Because that binder is kind of big."

Not too bad, really, but to Aeryn...

"We'll have help," he says soothingly. "Don't worry."

"I know," she says. "And at least some things can probably be taken care of before we leave this way."

"Yep." He smiles. "It'll be fine and we'll get married and it'll be fun."

"So you're okay with this?" she asks, smiling a little.

"God, yes," he says.

"Are you awake now?"

"I think so," he says, smiling crookedly.

"Good," she says, smiling back at him from across the bed.
