Room 209, Sunday afternoon/evening

After leaving Sanctity, Aeryn's really impressively agitated. She's on the phone as soon as she's out the door, heading back to the dorms.

And once she's back there, she opens the door to 209 and waits.

"It's just a headache," he repeats and climbs back up onto her bed to lay on his stomach. "That's all."

She's quiet for a moment, but nods and says, "Okay." Because she has no idea what else to do.

"Come over and lay with me for awhile?" John asks quietly. "Until I fall asleep again?"

"Okay," she says again. She joins him on the bed, laying on her side to face him.

He curls into her immediately, tangling his legs with hers, wrapping his arms around her and burying his face in her chest.

"Thanks."

She kisses the top of his head and says, "It's okay."

"Hm," is all he says before closing his eyes and falling asleep again.

For a long time Aeryn's quiet, and she debates moving the desk as quietly as possible and going looking for Scorpius herself. But that's stupid, and she knows it.

Besides. There's always tomorrow.

She pulls the covers over them, and attempts to sleep.
