Room 209, Thursday evening

Aeryn's actually looking forward to the Coruscant trip tomorrow. It's her first time offplanet in months, and to be completely honest, she's looking forward to seeing where Anakin comes from. That also means she has to pack a little. The door's open, only because she's finding that all of her things are spread between 209 and 238, and every time she thinks she has everything, there's one more thing she's forgotten.

Traveling- even for a night- was much easier when everything was standard issue.

Parker nods, looking interested, but also disappointed. "I... might have a twin." She frowns, looking away. "Or I might not. And I can't figure out what I feel about it, either way."

"I imagine that would be difficult to deal with," says Aeryn slowly, not wanting to push. "Especially not knowing definitely."

"He was a boy. Is a boy?" She frowns, looking away. "I just found out about him. My father didn't tell me. A friend found a video...." Parker presses the heels of her hands to her eyes. "I'm afraid to ask him about it."

"You'll never know until you do ask," she says simply. "It's just a matter of when you're ready to confront it."

Parker's quiet for a minute, thinking. "I'll never be ready. Not really." She quirks Aeryn a fast almost-smile, there-and-gone, then nods. "So. Might as well ask him when I see him this weekend." She looks sardonic for a moment. "Maybe I can actually surprise *him*, this time."

"You have the right to at least question it," Aeryn tells her, and she does know that it's a little strange for her to be saying that, of all people. Then again, she's been here for a while. "Should make for an interesting weekend, at least."

"Among other things." Parker sighs, with more relief than tiredness this time. "Right. Going forward. Dealing. Getting gone-- oh, that reminds me. Do you and John have plans for next Friday?"

"I don't," she answers. "I'm not sure about John. Is something happening?"

"Birthday party for Jarod at Caritas. His nineteenth. I know you don't know him, and I think John has only met him once," Parker suddenly glares, remembering the 'Parkie' John might have taught her boyfriend, "but he's never had a party before, and it's going to be a costume one. Nothing elaborate, but you guys might enjoy it."

Aeryn tries not to cringe too much at the word 'costume'. "I'll mention it to him, see if he has anything planned that night," she nods.

"Cool. Have fun on your trip. And, uh," Parker looks very awkward a moment, then says, "Thanks. For listening. I appreciate it."

"I can manage it sometimes," she says with a little smile. "Good luck with your trip."

"Thanks. See you after the 4th." Parker smiles, looking a little more relaxed than when she walked in, and waves good-bye as she heads out to the Sin.
