A bar in the Yale area, Friday night

Aeryn didn't know much about bachelorette parties, except that they didn't usually involve paintball. Therefore online research had ended up with everyone in a bar near Yale, and a few little accessories that she didn't get personally but thought Rory would like. And she was getting a frelling veil.

"Lucky you," Lane commented dryly, smiling at her. "But I'll have to pick up some thread and quilting lingo on my way back to Stars Hollow. And maybe actually get Rory and Anakin a quilt."

Angela smiled back, then glanced down at herself. "I would offer to unravel my sweater, but that's kind of not the right kind of thread," she said.

And then, because Lane had reminded her: "...oh my god, I didn't buy a wedding present yet."

Angela's face lit up. "The first thing my boyfriend ever gave her was a really good espresso machine," she revealed. "Maybe she needs a replacement."
