Room 238, Sunday afternoon

After leaving the common room, Aeryn brings Cameron back to 238. After all, if she and Vala couldn't tell them apart while they were wearing the same clothing, Cam could probably borrow clothes from the room. And Aeryn may hit the next person who calls John pudgy just for that reason.

"There may be some things in the closet," she says, though for all she knows it's only her stuff and Angel's, and John's clothes are all on the floor.

"They squeak!" Cameron sighs and lets go of the pants. They don't sag too far. "I'll live."

Aeryn hasn't stopped shaking her head at them both for a while. "For the record, Vala and I couldn't tell either of you apart," she says. "Just to remind you."

John flops back on the bed.

"I slept in my own bed last night," John taunts, "where'd you sleep?"

"On Jaye's floor." He kinds sounds grateful for that.

"Too bad," John says. "Jaye didn't let you sleep in her bed with her? You know, as just friends."

"What the hell are you implying?" Cameron scowls at John.

"Well, she was admiring your leather pants yesterday..." John raises his eyebrows and smirks.

"And I got a girlfriend who I love! I'm not going to turn around and and..." He was too pissed to flail.

"All right, that discussion is over now," Aeryn says loudly, because she's really not intent on watching this get ugly.

"His loud cursing woke me up," John mutters, pulling a pillow over his head. "He woke me up and is wearing my clothes. He should be nice to me."

"I'll wash them and make you breakfast as thanks if you stop being an idiot and accusing me of cheating on my girlfriend," Cameron grumbles.

Aeryn sighs heavily. "Do I need to separate you two?" she asks, which if she thinks about it too long might become the scariest thing she has ever said in her life.

"No, I'm done," John mumbles. "And I'm holding you to breakfast, Cameron."

"Of course you are," Cameron rolls his eyes. "Can I use your phone?"

"Sure." John yawns and stretches again. "No long distance calls though."

As Cameron goes to make his call, Aeryn turns to John and asks, "Did I miss something?"

John smiles at her. "Maybe...you missed me?"

"I did," she says with a smile. "And that was a really nice try."

He smiles charmingly. "When Cam leaves, you gonna come back to bed?"

Aeryn's smile should probably answer that question. But she has to ask, "You're not going to tell me why you're sniping at each other, are you?"

"He thinks I'm fat," John grumbles.

Aeryn looks him over, and she really does not understand this. "No," she says simply.

Cameron choses that moment to come back unaware of what Aeryn is looking at John like that. "There, just called across the hall. Not that she's picking up, but thanks."

"You're welcome," John says, "and maybe she's just sleeping. It was a long weekend for you both."

"It was a long week," Cameron remarks and picks up his paint brush.
