Room 238, Tuesday evening

Having heard the radio, Aeryn's decided it might be a good idea to leave John alone for a while and hope he didn't do something stupid like smother himself in the meantime. By the time evening rolls around, she's started to think that's just silly, and she heads on over. She might unlock and open the door a little slowly, though, like a warning.

When John hears the door opening, he might scurry into the bathroom and turn on the shower. You know, to give the impression that he's been in there the whooooole time...

If it works, it's only because Aeryn knows she doesn't have to go anywhere, and can take a seat on the sofa to wait for him.

So...John supposes he better take a shower now.

He does and finally emerges from the bathroom wet and wrapped in a towel.

"Hi," he says, scrubbing a hand through his hair. "Been here long?"

"A while," she says, and the towel isn't so bad. "Hi."

"Oh." He avoid looking at her and plays with the edge of the towel. "Want anything to drink? Eat? Throw at me?"

"I'm fine," she says. "Explain the pudding to me?"

"No," he says and skitters over to his bed, occupying himself with looking for some a pair of boxers.

She nods, deciding she probably doesn't want to know anyway. "Places other than the bed?" she goes on, and she's not teasing so much as she's genuinely curious. "Such as?"

"The bed," he says and pulls out a pair of yellow boxer shorts. "Just the bed," he lies.

"I don't remember you minding the wallsex on the roof," she points out.

He winces but concedes that point. "Okay, the bed and the roof."

"Shower, kitchen floor, bathroom counter, the sofa... Seriously. Where else are you thinking?" she asks.

"Nowhere!" John says quickly. Too quickly.

"You know, the chances of it happening get slimmer if I don't know about it."

He grimaces and mumbles something like might sound like 'bin your hip.'

"Didn't translate," she tells him.

"I didn't say anything," he says and blushes again.

Aeryn picks up a pillow from the couch and throws it at him. "Tell me."

He shakes his head and finally puts the boxer shorts on. "I just said in the bed. It's always good there."

She sighs at him, finally standing. "Fine," she says.

He nods and starts digging into his drawer for some kind of shirt to wear.

She's quiet for a moment before asking, "What's your issue with actually telling me? I'm really wondering about that."

"Because..." He trails off and shakes his head. "I don't know. It's embarrassing."

"It's me," she says, because they've already had this talk about why he shouldn't be embarrssed when it comes to her, and she doesn't know how else to get that across.

He laughs and pulls his shirt on. "These are my sexual fantasties, Aeryn. I have no idea how the radio found out about them."
