Room 209, Monday late morning/early afternoon

Aeryn isn't a huge fan of the computer lab, but she still woke up early and spent most of her morning there, first trying to figure out how to spell that Massachusetts place and then figuring out how to look it up online. That was a first. She just printed everything out, not even sure if she was getting the right information, then brought it back to her room.

And now she's trying to read through it all, which should maybe a sign as to how important this is to her right now.

Isabel returned to the dorms after baking, apple pie in hand. Looking to share with someone, she knocked on Aeryn's door.

Aeryn puts the papers down as she gets up from the bed to open the door. "Hi," she greets her.

"I've got pie," Isabel said, holding up the pan. "And I promise it will not make you sing, dance or make odd clothing choices. Want some?"

"Um, sure," Aeryn says, letting her in. "You're randomly delivering pie today?"

"I had the cooking and baking workshop this morning," she explained as she entered the room. "I like to share the successful results with people."

"I appreciate it. I don't have much in the way of plates or anything, though," she says, closing the door. Noticing her back, she says, "New look?"

Isabel set the pie down and pulled paper plates and utensils out of her bag. "I snagged some in the workshop. We're good." It took her a moment to figure out what Aeryn was refering to. "Oh, it's a temporary henna tattoo. It was the closest to skywriting I could get."

She raises her eyebrows. "Skywriting?"

"Greg had Anakin skywrite a message for me last week," Isabel said with a happy smile. "I wanted to say something back so Parker, Jack and Dawn helped me do this."

"Is it some sort of tradition?" she wonders. "I've never really heard of anything like... any of that before."

"It's not. It's just me being a sappy dork." Isabel started to cut into the pie. "If you look closely, in between the all the vines and flowers there's some chemical symbols. According to the reading I did, they're the chemicals your brain puts out when you start to fall for someone." Yes, her face got very red as she explained.

Aeryn almost smiles at that. "Wow," she says, and tries to say something else, but the words just won't come.

She handed Aeryn a slice of pie. "Yeah, that was kind of his reaction. But it was a good wow, so life is good." Taking her own slice, she took a seat on the floor. "So how about you? What have you been doing in the whole forty some hours since the last time I saw you?"

Sometime during the afternoon workshops, Molly stopped by and knocked on the door.

Aeryn gets up, opening the door. "Hi, Molly," she greets her, opening the door wider in case she wants to come in.

"Hi, Aeryn." Molly did go in just so she wasn't standing out in the hallway. She held her disposable camera up to show Aeryn. "I'm in Mr. Dean Professor The Tick's arts and crafts workshop and we are supposed to take pictures for our scrapbooks this afternoon. I was wondering if I could take your picture."

"On purpose?" she asks, looking at the camera a little warily.

Molly looked at the camera and then back at Aeryn. "Well, yeah."

"I'm not very good with pictures," she warns. She'd probably do it because it's Molly, but still. Pictures.

Molly grinned. "I won't make you smile if you don't feel like it," she said. "I just want to have a picture of you in my scrapbook."

"Are you sure about that?" she says. "You could always take one of the pictures from the DRD. It can't stop taking pictures."

"If you'd like me to do that instead, I will," Molly said with a shrug. "I just have this disposable camera from class and I'm supposed to use it."

"No, it's all right," Aeryn says slowly. "I'm not used to having them taken. Except when I'm not expecting it."

"Ahhh, that makes sense," Molly said. She thought for a moment. "Hmmm, how about I just stand here with the camera," she held it up to her eye, "and you tell me something fun that you did recently. Something you'd be willing to tell me, of course. And then, I'll just take a picture without warning you."

"All right..." she says, and tries to think. "I spent yesterday in a tent, today Isabel brought pie... I don't live a very exciting life."
