Room 238, Monday evening

Aeryn gets back to the room after Flight Club, going straight for a bottle of water and the aspirin. She almost trips over Bertram on her way to the kitchen, and he gives her a little warning beep.

"Shh," she says. "No beeping."

"I'll take my chances," he grins and kisses her eyes. He makes sure the compress is still cool as well.

She's already quiet, not exactly sleeping but at that stage where she might as well be.

He pulls a blanket up around them, uses one hand to cup her cheek and pull her closer all while still kissing her forehead.

Thus making this the easiest time Aeryn's ever gotten to sleep.

While John knows she won't forget the drowsy drugs, he's happier she's sleeping and relaxing. He doesn't sleep for awhile.
