The gym, Thursday afternoon

Aeryn has been spending a lot of time at the gym this week, which isn't out of the ordinary, but she doesn't like the reasoning behind it. She doesn't want to be frustrated, but Crichton frelling brings it out of her. Yesterday resulted in bruised and scraped knuckles, so today she's wearing gloves as she beats on the punching bag.

He wants to help? Fine. Except he's not frelling helping.


(OOC: Feel free to antagonize/cheer her up. Either one might make her feel better and if she gets any more emo on me, I swear to god she's ending up strapped to something at the bottom of a large body of water.)

"Dean Bristow?" Aeryn repeats, and loosens her grip on the bag just enough to get knocked back a couple steps when it swings back at her. "I'm still clinging to the possessed theory. And don't go to the alcohol. Trust me."

Cameron waits for a moment for Aeryn to steady the bag again. "Maybe," he responds but he's not sure if it's to the alcohol remark or the possessed theory. He flexes his fists, they're starting to hurt, before punching again.

Aeryn just holds the bag, which is not easy, as he's hitting hard and still swinging a little wide. She's also not going to make anyone talk if they don't want to.

He keeps it up for a while longer, but the anger is starting to drain from him and he's getting tired. With a sigh, he pulls back and rubs the sweat from his brow. "Thanks," he says softly."

She smiles a little. "It's what I'm here for. That and beating teachers."

Cameron looks over at where Ash is lying on the ground and grins, "nice job."

When he turns his attention back to Aeryn, he frowns slightly. "Look, I know you can totally kick my ass for this and I should probably shut up, but he misses you." He shrugs and looks away.

"I tried last night, I really did," she says. "I somehow made things worse. So... I don't know. We just have to see how it plays out."

"We men are complete idiots sometimes. Just knock him over the head," he gives her a small, reassuring smile and sighs. "I think I need to go... not get drunk."
