Room 238, Friday evening

Aeryn has no idea what she's supposed to be packing. Normally she wouldn't even worry about this till tomorrow, right before they leave, but it will be early and she wants to make a good impression. Or at least a better impression than the last time. It's probably the only time you'll see her putting things in a bag, changing her mind, and staring at the closet for a while before grabbing something a little more... normal.

"It's okay," he says, nodding. "It's all right."

"I really did want to tell you," she says, because she hasn't said that like three times already.

"I know," he says because he can remember some of the faces she'd made whenever this topic came up.

"I'm glad he told you," she admits.

"I am too," he says, nodding. "I feel...well, not better, but I understand."

"It's a lot to adjust to," Aeryn says. She feels like she's been saying that a lot.

"It is," he agrees. "Like I said, I have to think about it some more. It's a lot to take in."

"Yeah," she says. "If there's anything you need to know... questions you have... I think I can at least try to answer them."

He nods and says, "I will. But not tonight."

"Yeah," Aeryn says with a nod. "We could talk about it for arns and still never be packed."

"I haven't even started packing," he says and makes a face. "Oops."

"Neither have I, really," and that's such a lie. "We should probably start."
