Rehearsal dinner- Restaurant in Cambridge- Friday night

Friday was busier than Aeryn had anticipated somehow, with people coming in from out of town, followed by the rehearsal at the hotel where the ceremony and reception would take place. And personally, she had no idea how anyone remembered how all of this sort of thing went, and she thought it was kind of stupid how much emphasis was put on something as simple as walking, but she'd go with it, as apparently these things were important. Or something.

Afterwards, the group made their way to a pizza place nearby to settle in and settle down and have one good night out before tomorrow got more stressful.


[Up early for SP. For bridal party, dates, and other guests to the Friday thingie yay!
ETA: For clarification, cuz a couple people have asked. If you were told you were welcome to the dinner, you were invited. Otherwise the wedding stuff takes place tomorrow.]

Anakin grinned. "No one's going to be looking at me."

"They'll all be looking at Aeryn," John said. "Big time. I wonder how many weapons she's going to try and put under her dress."

Anakin did some calculations. "Four," he decided.

"Wow," John said and blinked. "All guns you think?"

"Knives are less bulky to put into formalwear," Anakin told him. "I'd say probably two of each."

"In what situations do you think she'd use them?" John asked curiously.

"Standard things, I'd imagine," Anakin said. "Invasions, fights breaking out, getting Rory to calm down..."

The last one was said with way too much amusement to be taken seriously.

John started laughing immediately and couldn't stop for a few long moments.

"She's probably more nervous than either Aeryn or me, the poor thing."

"I'm working on it," Anakin said, getting that absolutely doofy look on his face that happened every time he mentioned Rory.

"Oh, like you didn't look like you've been hit by a truck when Aeryn came walking towards you," Anakin retorted with a smile.

"Fortunately we have kick ass tattoos to stop us from accidentally turning into women," Anakin said.

"Exactly!" John said, nodding. "Did you show Rory yours?"
