Rehearsal dinner- Restaurant in Cambridge- Friday night

Friday was busier than Aeryn had anticipated somehow, with people coming in from out of town, followed by the rehearsal at the hotel where the ceremony and reception would take place. And personally, she had no idea how anyone remembered how all of this sort of thing went, and she thought it was kind of stupid how much emphasis was put on something as simple as walking, but she'd go with it, as apparently these things were important. Or something.

Afterwards, the group made their way to a pizza place nearby to settle in and settle down and have one good night out before tomorrow got more stressful.


[Up early for SP. For bridal party, dates, and other guests to the Friday thingie yay!
ETA: For clarification, cuz a couple people have asked. If you were told you were welcome to the dinner, you were invited. Otherwise the wedding stuff takes place tomorrow.]

Karal smiled sheepishly, reaching out to steady her. "This is a rehearsal dinner, isn't it?" Maybe he'd misunderstood. The whole concept was very strange.

"We're not rehearsing for dinner though. It's a dinner after the rehearsal for the ceremony tomorrow," she explained.

Karal went bright red. "Oh." So he had misunderstood.

Molly couldn't keep herself from giggling. "I'm sorry," she said. "It's a cute mistake to make."

He glanced around, modded everyone saw that no one was watching, and stepped closer to kiss her quickly. "I did think it was very odd that dinner could be so complex we had to rehearse for it. I was beginning to wonder exactly what was going to happen!"

Molly smiled at the kiss. "I didn't even think to explain it either."

"I had visions of each course being preceded by a complex dance, or some sort of acrobatic routine," he said lightly, laughing at himself. "And just imagine how much of a mess that would make."

Molly laughed with him. "It would be entertaining though. Maybe we should suggest it. Do you think it's too late to add it?"

"I think that you can be the one to suggest it," he decided, brushing his shoulder against hers. "I will watch from a safe distance."

Molly giggled again and leaned against him. "Maybe I'll save it for the next wedding that happens. Rory might just kill me if she thought I was even a little bit serious."

He laughed out loud and hugged her against his side. "And that would be a very bad omen for a wedding."
