Rehearsal dinner- Restaurant in Cambridge- Friday night

Friday was busier than Aeryn had anticipated somehow, with people coming in from out of town, followed by the rehearsal at the hotel where the ceremony and reception would take place. And personally, she had no idea how anyone remembered how all of this sort of thing went, and she thought it was kind of stupid how much emphasis was put on something as simple as walking, but she'd go with it, as apparently these things were important. Or something.

Afterwards, the group made their way to a pizza place nearby to settle in and settle down and have one good night out before tomorrow got more stressful.


[Up early for SP. For bridal party, dates, and other guests to the Friday thingie yay!
ETA: For clarification, cuz a couple people have asked. If you were told you were welcome to the dinner, you were invited. Otherwise the wedding stuff takes place tomorrow.]

"For someone that can be as stoic as Anakin, he's very convincing," John said, nodding. "And he made sure they didn't hurt me with needles."

"He's convincing!" John said again. "In his own way."

"You see, I'd think all he'd have to say is, 'Hey, let's get tattoos,' and I would have gone for it just because I was stunned," Peter said.

John laughed and said, "He...actually kind of did say that. And then put me in a headlock."

"How drunk was he?" Peter asked. It was the obvious question at this point.

"I...not too bad," John said. "He wasn't slurring his words or anything."

"Wow. I'm sorry, I'm just amazed by this," Peter said. "And there's no way I'm bringing this up in the paper. That would be dumb."

"Thanks again for that picture where Anakin thought he was...well, with the jumpsuit," John said, recalling the image and laughing.

"Lyman thought he was a sixteen year old girl. 'She' tried flirting with me," Peter said.

John's eyes went wide and he started laughing. "Good flirt?"

"Terrible. Made worse by the fact that he didn't realize he didn't have hair to flip. But that's not the worst part," Peter said.

"Tell me the worst part," John said and realized, if Aly brought Josh, he was never going to see Professor Lyman the same way.

John actually blushed and said, "Awesome. I can't wait till tomorrow!"
