Rehearsal dinner- Restaurant in Cambridge- Friday night

Friday was busier than Aeryn had anticipated somehow, with people coming in from out of town, followed by the rehearsal at the hotel where the ceremony and reception would take place. And personally, she had no idea how anyone remembered how all of this sort of thing went, and she thought it was kind of stupid how much emphasis was put on something as simple as walking, but she'd go with it, as apparently these things were important. Or something.

Afterwards, the group made their way to a pizza place nearby to settle in and settle down and have one good night out before tomorrow got more stressful.


[Up early for SP. For bridal party, dates, and other guests to the Friday thingie yay!
ETA: For clarification, cuz a couple people have asked. If you were told you were welcome to the dinner, you were invited. Otherwise the wedding stuff takes place tomorrow.]

"You realize you'll be getting some version of a pony for Christmas now?" she grinned.

"I can't wait," Peter said. "Our last Christmas in Fandom. That's going to be interesting."

"Yeah, I know," Isabel said more seriously. "As much as I want to move on? I'm not sure I want to. Which makes no sense I know."

"No, I get it. I mean, I don't agree. I'm totally a big city boy and I've been in a tiny tiny town for quite a while now, but I understand it," Peter said.

"That's true," she nodded. "So you're looking forward to getting back to New York?"

Definitely," Peter said. "Starting college, signing up for a cushy job as a SHIELD guy, beating up bad guys on a regular basis... It'll be fun to get back to," Peter said.

"You're going to be busy then. But not too busy that you can't drop me an email occasionally right?" Isabel asked.

"Oh, way too busy for that. Sorry, but I'll be moving up in the world, forgetting my high school friends, all that kind of stuff," Peter said.

"Then I'll spend the money and earn some Portalocity frequent flyer miles." Isabel shook her head, "You're not getting rid of me so easily."

"Well, you'll be welcome any time," Peter said. "Well, unless I'm on a mission or something. Then you might have to wait a while. So, you know, probably best to coordinate ahead of time."

"Back over the summer?" Peter asked. "I'm really sorry, but I was kind of busy with my aunt and the whole insanity of the situation. I wasn't really checking my e-mail much."

"No you dork!" she said affectionately. "I mean next year. When you're in New York and I'm hopefully in Ithaca. Then you're going to need to check your email."
