Friday was busier than Aeryn had anticipated somehow, with people coming in from out of town, followed by the rehearsal at the hotel where the ceremony and reception would take place. And personally, she had no idea how anyone remembered how all of this sort of thing went, and she thought it was kind of stupid how much emphasis was put on something as simple as walking, but she'd go with it, as apparently these things were important. Or something.

Afterwards, the group made their way to a pizza place nearby to settle in and settle down and have one good night out before tomorrow got more stressful.

[Up early for SP. For bridal party, dates, and other guests to the Friday thingie yay!
ETA: For clarification, cuz a couple people have asked. If you were told you were welcome to the dinner, you were invited. Otherwise the wedding stuff takes place tomorrow.]

She winced. "Sorry. How bad was the gremlin bite?"

"Bad," Anakin said. "Peter Parker had photos."

Which explained the "stuffing him into a trunk" thing.

It did, actually. "How secure were the locks on those trunks?"

"Not secure enough that he would've stayed there," Anakin said.

Which was good, and yet... "Now I'm admiring your restraint."

"Very few people appreciate that trait of mine," Anakin complained.

"I can't imagine why," she said, hiding a smile (badly). "It's so readily apparent."

"I was thinking of making up a t-shirt," Anakin told her.

"Anakin, do you even own a t-shirt?"

"I don't see how that could matter."

Yeah, he was so getting t-shirts for Christmas. "There's an...art to designing them. Ask Rory."

Anakin beamed. "I normally do."

"It works well for you," she couldn't help grinning back. "I think it's a good policy."

"I plan on using it for a long time," Anakin said.

"Good." She looked around. "You ever think about doing this again?"

Anakin gave her a small smile. "It seems a little soon."

It also wasn't a no.

"I wasn't talking about tomorrow," she teased, realizing exactly what he hadn't said. "It's already taken, anyway."

"What?"

"Think I'll talk to her about it before I mention anything to you," he said softly. "So. John and Aeryn. Think we'll need the weapons?"

Wow, okay then. Maybe not so long to wait, but she hadn't meant to upset him. "We may need to hide them from them, depending on how things play out tomorrow."
