Rehearsal dinner- Restaurant in Cambridge- Friday night

Friday was busier than Aeryn had anticipated somehow, with people coming in from out of town, followed by the rehearsal at the hotel where the ceremony and reception would take place. And personally, she had no idea how anyone remembered how all of this sort of thing went, and she thought it was kind of stupid how much emphasis was put on something as simple as walking, but she'd go with it, as apparently these things were important. Or something.

Afterwards, the group made their way to a pizza place nearby to settle in and settle down and have one good night out before tomorrow got more stressful.


[Up early for SP. For bridal party, dates, and other guests to the Friday thingie yay!
ETA: For clarification, cuz a couple people have asked. If you were told you were welcome to the dinner, you were invited. Otherwise the wedding stuff takes place tomorrow.]

Anakin launched into a ridiculously detailed description of all of them.

Sam listened with a great deal of interest, asking ridiculously detailed questions in return.

Anakin's eyes lit up and his hands gestured as he explained, then concluded with, "and most of them had trunks big enough to fit Peter Parker, but I told Rory that I wouldn't."

Which, in Anakin's world, was a valid reason.

Being friends with Anakin was such an adventure. "Okay. You, uh, didn't leave him in any of the trunks, did you?"

"No," Anakin said a little sullenly. "It'd've messed up the pictures tomorrow."

"And upset Rory," she added, since it wasn't like legal or illegal really bothered him.

"Will she be upset about weapons she doesn't know I'm wearing? I mean, hypothetically?"

"Hypothetically?" Anakin thought about it. "I think she's going to be resigned about it."

A lightsaber wasn't a weapon, naturally. It was a symbol. Yes.

"I can deal with resigned," she relaxed and wondered exactly how much weaponry would be hidden on the wedding party. "How're things?"

"I got bit by a gremlin a few weeks ago," Anakin admitted ruefully, "and almost made a few students cry in class today. So...about normal?"

She winced. "Sorry. How bad was the gremlin bite?"

Which explained the "stuffing him into a trunk" thing.

It did, actually. "How secure were the locks on those trunks?"

"Not secure enough that he would've stayed there," Anakin said.
