Room 209, Saturday afternoon

After talking with Isabel in the gym, Aeryn heads back up to her room. She's been given something to think about, even though she doesn't even know how to broach the topic with John at the moment. Which is fine as he's currently in detention anyway. Besides, they have to see Zhaan first, and that's going to take a bit of preparation as it is. She just isn't sure how much John will want to reveal and how much she'll have to say for him and how much trouble she'll get into about that. She's just had to learn how to be much more careful, that's all. It's a skill she should have had before.

She closes her door.

[Knocking is perfectly acceptable.]

Cameron leaves the staircase and halts for a moment in the hallway. He's just finished his shift at the theater and maybe he should check his voicemail first to see if Aeryn has answered. Then again, they should probably have this discussion face to face so he turns on his heels heads to #209 instead.

Aeryn answers the door, opening it a little wider for him. "Hey," she greets him.

"Yo," he puts his hands in his back pockets. "Did you get my voicemail?"

"Yeah," she says, letting him in. "It's been a long day or... week. I haven't been good with the phone."

"Yeah, I think I can see that." Cameron says as he moves further into the room and turns to face her.

She closes the door. "What did he do?" she asks.

"Hard to tell," Cameron says honestly, because he still doesn't understand exactly what was going on. "He kept getting distracted, pissed off at someone who apparently wasn't me but I have no clue who else he could have been talking to. He even started flailing about at some point."

About normal, then. And she recognizes the futility in asking Did he do anything strange? "He does that," she says.

"I'm pretty sure this is a new development," Cameron says.

Molly had heard about the fight between Angel and Anakin, but still hadn't heard any more about how they were doing. She didn't feel comfortable going to either to ask for answers so she decided to find out what Aeryn knew first.

She knocked on the door.

Aeryn gets up from her chair and opens the door. "Hi, Molly," she greets her, letting her in. And she does calm down a little.

"Hi, Aeryn," Molly said as she entered the room. "I'm wondering about something and I'm hoping you can help me before I have to resort ot going to the sources."

"I heard about the fight between Angel and Anakin on the radio the other night," Molly said after just a moment of hesitation. "It sounded really bad. Like, more than just an accident while sparring. I was just wondering if you knew any more about it. I don't really want to go ask either of them because you know how boys are." She shrugged as if that comment needed no further explanation.

"I don't know too much," she says. "I've only spoken to Angel, and he didn't tell me how it started. Just that they got into a fight, and apparently he got stabbed, but at least he broke Anakin's wrist." Yes, there's an eyeroll involved here.

"Stabbed? Broken wrist? Were they trying to kill each other?" Molly asked in shock. She shook her head at the stupidity of boys.

"I have no idea," she says. "It may have been a sparring match that got out of control. I've had that happen. Of course, I never stabbed someone in the gym, either."

John's out of detention. John's also really tired and Umberto is really bothering him today. That's evident by the exhaustion under his eyes and the near constant swiping at his ear.

He knocks on Aeryn's door with his non swatting hand.

"Today was fun. Can we do it again soon"

"Get your own damn detention."

She keeps the door open, frowning. "Did you have fun?" she asks. And almost adds a both into the sentence.

"Oh tons," he says, shaking his head and wincing. "I love detention. I love Skeeter turning me into a dog for no reason and getting gum stuck on me."
