Room 238, Sunday evening

Aeryn spent her afternoon training Peter, and when she gets back to the room, she's ready to go looking for something to eat.

She finds the package of Goldfish crackers, and remembering her conversation with Dawn, brings them over to the shark tank. She doesn't do anything, just moves it in front of the tank, wondering if Bruno would go for it. She's slightly disappointed when he doesn't seem to care.

"Of course not, he doesn't eat people food," Aeryn says. "Are you hungry?"

"I'm a little hungry. Why?"

She holds the crackers out to him. See, she can share. Also, she didn't actually want the crackers, she just wanted to see if Bruno did.

He takes a cracker and then just decides to ask. "Did you share these with Bruno?"

"No." Because he didn't want them. "That would be silly."

He looks at Bruno. "Did she try and give you these crackers?"

"Why do you keep talking to things that can't talk?"

"Talk to what things that can't talk?"

She frowns at him, and she is not repeating a couple of names he gave a couple of things.

"What? Like Babe and Gabe?"

"All right, I'm not letting you name any part of my body. I can't believe I just had to say that."

"I've already named different parts of your body," he says smugly.

Aeryn stares at him.

"Never tell me."

He laughs and takes some more crackers.

"Wanna ride your bike around the room again?"

"The carpet makes it difficult," she tells him. "I'll take it outside tomorrow, where it's flat."

"All right." And that's when he remembers something else he brought with him. He heads over to his closet and digs out an old pair of roller blades. "Try these."

She frowns at them and asks, "What are those?"

"Roller blades," he says. "Shoes on wheels. Try them. They're fun."

"What is your obsession with making me try these things indoors?" she asks, but takes them, looking them over.

"Because, if you fall, it won't hurt as bad," he says. "And these are tougher than the bike."

Aeryn frowns and asks, "What makes you think I would fall?"

He just smiles. "Put them on and try."

"Fine," she says, and sits down in order to take her shoes off and put the rollerblades on.

John holds his laughter and stands back. "When you're ready, you just get up and you use one foot to push off. Then's it a matter of gliding."

She points at the carpet again. "You can't glide on this," she insists. "You can trip on this."
