The gym, Thursday afternoon

Aeryn has been spending a lot of time at the gym this week, which isn't out of the ordinary, but she doesn't like the reasoning behind it. She doesn't want to be frustrated, but Crichton frelling brings it out of her. Yesterday resulted in bruised and scraped knuckles, so today she's wearing gloves as she beats on the punching bag.

He wants to help? Fine. Except he's not frelling helping.


(OOC: Feel free to antagonize/cheer her up. Either one might make her feel better and if she gets any more emo on me, I swear to god she's ending up strapped to something at the bottom of a large body of water.)

Sam walked into the gym, putting her towel and water on the floor next to one of the weight machines. She saw Aeryn working at the bag. "Aeryn. Hi."

Aeryn pauses, not even realizing she's out of breath. "Hi," she says, and hits the bag again before taking a minute to rest.

"Do you want me to hold the bag for you?" Sam asks. "Or maybe go hand-to-hand?"

"Honestly, probably not a good idea right now," she says. She takes a deep breath. "Is it a species thing? Are all human males genetically predisposed to be difficult?"

Sam shrugs. "Yeah, I guess they are, actually. Although sometimes stupidity has been known to override that programming in a pinch. Why, were the males you knew before not...difficult?"

*wanders in, out of sorts from giving a speech about Politics, damnit, and preps to attack the second bag.*

Aeryn waves. "Popular place today."

Parke smiles wearily. "Day 2 without cigarettes... is even less fun than Day 1. Plus I was reminded how much I hate politics."

Punch, kick, punch-kick.

"Did you reconsider sparring?" Parker lets loose a back-swing at the. "Or are you still holding back?"

"No reconsidering yet. Today's worse," she says. "What about politics?"

::walks into the gym, looks and sees the present compant, and scratches his chin, smirking::

Whoa, have I died and gone to heaven? Cause I seem to be surrounded by angels, babies. ::laugh::

Aeryn slides him a Look. She's not going to remind a teacher that these "angels" were very good at punching things.

::sees the look, and mistakenly confuses it as interest. He walks over to Aeryn::

Hey baby... wanna go a few rounds with the King? ::laughs::

Aeryn gives him a tight, hard-edged smile. "Wouldn't dream of it, sir," she says.

"Oh great," Cameron mutters as he strides into the gym. He just left Crichton's room and needed something to do. Preferably hit something. Finding more girls in the gym, was definitely not what he had in mind.
