Room 238, Wednesday morning

Aeryn would normally be up by now, already dealing with breakfast or the like. She's awake, but for some reason today she's content to stay right where she is, at least for a little while longer. She blames the warm bed and still adjusting back from Bettina's weird schedule this weekend.

"We're still warm and snuggly in bed."

"You're very frustrating," she notes idly.

"I'm sorry?"

"If you get up to do it, I'll make it up to you," she promises. She has learned how to bargain, yes.

"But I'm warm," he complains.

"Take the blanket with you."

So, fine. He starts to get up and takes all the blankets with him.

Aeryn regrets the loss of the covers immediately. "It isn't that bad," she says, but she's smiling.

John just grumbles some more and disappears into the bathroom, shutting the door behind him.

She does debate doing something, but there's not enough time unless he takes a while brushing his teeth. So instead she waits... and tries to curl her legs up a little because her feet are freezing.

He totally takes his time.

Too bad she didn't know that before, because now she really must not have enough time. Woe.

He finally comes back out and wraps the blankets tighter around him. "I'm nice and warm and minty."

"Good," she says. "Prove it."

"How so?"

"Come here," she says. Also, she is cold.

"You just want the blankets back."

"And you as well," she teases. Mostly teases. Seriously, yay blankets.

"I could just stay over here wrapped in the blankets," he taunts.

"Yes, but you're the one who spent all this time talking about the superior bed," she points out.

"Are you cold?"

"There's a bit of a chill."

He laughs and finally comes back to bed.

"Took you long enough," she greets him, leaning over to give him a kiss.
