can_be_more | Rehearsal dinner- Restaurant in Cambridge- Friday night

Friday was busier than Aeryn had anticipated somehow, with people coming in from out of town, followed by the rehearsal at the hotel where the ceremony and reception would take place. And personally, she had no idea how anyone remembered how all of this sort of thing went, and she thought it was kind of stupid how much emphasis was put on something as simple as walking, but she'd go with it, as apparently these things were important. Or something.

Afterwards, the group made their way to a pizza place nearby to settle in and settle down and have one good night out before tomorrow got more stressful.

[Up early for SP. For bridal party, dates, and other guests to the Friday thingie yay!
ETA: For clarification, cuz a couple people have asked. If you were told you were welcome to the dinner, you were invited. Otherwise the wedding stuff takes place tomorrow.]

Anakin's forehead creased just slightly. "I didn't want to ask earlier," he said quietly. "You're all right?"

"Earth's still here," she shrugged a shoulder. Trust Anakin to notice that she wasn't completely back to full power yet. "Everything else is negligable. You?"

Sam started laughing. "Any particular reason?"

Anakin pouted. Not that he'd call it that. "He made fun of my hair."

"Oh. I see." More laughing.

"He should talk," Anakin groused. "Well, once his jaw is unwired. He had a mullet."

Anakin's was much, much cooler than a mullet. Really.

Sam had also spent the past seven months working with MacGyver, and had become very familiar with mullets. "So of course you...you broke his jaw?"

"That kind of happened when he landed on the table," Anakin said.

She closed her eyes. "It's just hair, you know?"

Anakin gave her an uncomprehending look.

Sam sighed. "Hair. No big deal. Just...hair." By which she meant to convey that he could have let it go, but she was still Sam. "It grows back," she added helpfully.

"So I should've shaved their heads too?" Anakin asked.

"No. But..." and then she remembered who she was talking to, "Never mind. So, after you exacted your revenge for your insult, then what happened?"

Sam listened with a great deal of interest, asking ridiculously detailed questions in return.

Anakin's eyes lit up and his hands gestured as he explained, then concluded with, "and most of them had trunks big enough to fit Peter Parker, but I told Rory that I wouldn't."
